"Momentum" means the momentum, speed, and intensity of events, as well as the momentum of bodies. However, the word also contains the terms "moment" and "art," which allude to the ability to perceive moments and the art of noticing and experiencing them.The resulting collection of jewelry symbolizes the intangible nature of the natural life cycle. The jewelry, which can be worn and styled in multiple ways, resembles flowing matter and splashing droplets slipping through fingers, symbolizing time. They are intentionally designed only for the hands (fingers and palm), which denote touch and grasp. The MOMENTUM collection thus captures the quickly and constantly changing matter in time, giving us the opportunity to glimpse the details of a single moment. My intention is to emphasize the importance of perceiving and experiencing details and everyday moments so that life does not just slip through our fingers.
